I personally think this article is bullshit. After seeing Conspiracy we know that meat production accounts for a large amount of greenhouse gases, particularly due to methane emissions. While I understand that agriculture accounts for a certain amount of carbon emissions as well, I have a hard time believing that Lettuce could be worse for the environment than Bacon. Anybody else have any thoughts?

This article has a very narrow focus. It just goes to show you that when you eliminate all the external costs of an industry, you can easily manipulate the way information is presented to an unsuspecting and impressionable public. This is another example of how important it is to be critically literate of the way all information is framed and presented.
