Apparently England is going in the opposite direction of renewable energy it seems. This is surprising since they were among the nations at the climate talks in Paris, and they agreed to the deal, as did everyone else. However this kind of investment, suggests that they may not hold up their end of the bargain.

From what I understand, all the Paris talks are non-committal, which shows through England's actions. It's sad to see that they're investing in fracking - clearly the Paris conventions have not been successful - I wonder what other methods we might peruse that will put pressure on world leaders to take these issues seriously and stick to their word.
